Brazil

This is my Brazilian Travel Guide, www.unidosdoperuche.com, named after the fantastically cool GRCSES Unidos do Peruche samba school in Sao Paulo.

People always email me and ask me why I chose this name for my travel guide to Brazil! It’s simple, the Samba is a fundamental part of the culture in Brazil and the Unidos do Peruche is at the very centre of this fantastic culture.

The Brazilians love the Samba and I guarantee you that after one little taste of the atmosphere in Sao Paulo during one of the major carnivals, you’ll be hooked!

Being in Brazil certainly is a far cry from my old life back in blighty where I used to earn my crust selling London Apartments. Not that there was anything wrong with my time in London! I just find it far sunnier, cheerful and relaxing over here!

You’ll find loads of brilliant travel information about Brazil on my website and I’m always open to suggestions for Brazilian things to cover!

Here are some random facts for you to digest about this amazing country:

The official language of Brazil is Portuguese

Brazil has a tropical climate which turns a bit more temperate in the South

Brazil is the largest country in South America

This beautiful country produces absolutely masses of coffee, soybeans, wheat, rice, corn, sugarcane, cocoa, citrus & beef

I really hope that you enjoy reading my website and find some useful information to help you in your travels to this brilliant place!
