I will be visiting sao paulo in may for business, and will have a weekend free. I am thinking of going to Guaruja for the weekend. I like to swim in the ocean, see some nice thongs, and have a beer in the evening with some live music.

I don’t want to go too far outside of Sao Paulo. Is Guaruja a good option or do you have other suggestions?

Any specific hotels you recommend?

I am going to Sao Paulo, Brazil to join my wife, who now lives there, in late April early May 2008. Or I can leave earlier if needed.Am wondering if it is possible to gat a job on a ship in exchange for price of trip, and also room and board during travel. I am going and not returning for long period of time, hopefully.
